Ethan Smilling
again, he loves sitting here. and i love seeing him smile. and i assume anyone looking at this blog does too, so i post way too many pictures! i just can't get enough of his smile!
Growing Boy!
He is getting so big. He can get in a chair by himself now. he just turned 17 months on June 1. Wow! I can't believe we have been nursing for 17 months!! Yeh us!!
Educate before you Vaccinate
The t-shirt says it all! Educate before you vaccinate. Did you know that there is aluminum, mercury (yes, its STILL in there), formaldehyde, aborted fetal cells and a bunch of other toxins in vaccinations? Well, if you didn't know this, you should. All we are saying is to learn what is in vaccinations, learn what reactions your child could have and make an educated choice. Check out Mothering.com vaccination board for more information. Also, check out "What your doctor may not tell you about childhood immunizations" by Stephanie Cave. there are many books to read on this subject...doing a google search will render many many options. Don't let your doctor force you to vaccinate. You don't HAVE to..most states have exemptions. Also, just because you have gotten them in the past doesnt mean you have to get them in the future. Nor does it mean you have to get all of them. And beware of the new vaccination for girls, Gardasil, that hasn't even been thoroughly tested on the age group its now being recommended for. Just educate yourself!
serious face!
this picture was just beautiful to me, so i had to post it. again, after a bath and at the height of the eczema. :(
Smiling Boy
This is a great picture of Ethan smiling, although it was also the height of his eczema. We finally eliminated alot of things and finally got alot of relief from the Bach's Rescue Remedy cream. its expensive but it has helped him so much. we tried oatmeal baths, calendula cream, weleda calendula lotion, seaweed soap and began using Bio Kleen detergent. I am sticking with the detergent and the Bach's Rescue Remedy cream. He seems to be doing much, much better.
