Ethan and I at the Roger Williams Zoo yesterday in Rhode Island. It was a nice peaceful trip. Although he is young, he is very alert and he enjoyed the animals.  

A cute little yawn for the camera. This was my cue to stop taking pix! :) 

It is so RARE for him to cry that I just had to take a pix of this. I wanted to photograph a picture of the scarf I knit for Mikey so I could post it on a knitting board but then Ethan started to cry about it. I felt so horrible and put the camera down but this is really a priceless picture. The only one I have of him crying. Its just soo rare! Poor baby. He got lots of hugs and kisses after this shot! :) 

Ethan loves modeling his new hat. Except that since I didnt have a pattern, I used an acrylic yarn b/c i didnt want to destroy my nice organic yarn or wool yarn so now I will recreate this hat for him in a nice yummy organic cotton or wool yarn. Its such an easy thing to do though! :) 

and here is the top of the hat! this was SOOOO easy! 

I took the top off and redid the hat, so here is the final product. :) 

This is the first attempt at making the hat pictured below. I don't lik ethe way the top looks though, so I am going to take that part out and redo the top of the hat. This was only a trial anyway and I didn't have a pattern, so I think it was pretty good all things considered.
 

Playing at the Museum of Science in Boston. These mats are so cool...we need to get some so he can play on the floor like this. He moves around so much better on these than on a blanket. Again, cute!!!

he fell back a little, but had enough strength to pull himself back up. i thought that was great. and of course a cute pix. 

the precious little hands. when you are around your babies 24/7, sometimes you forget how very small they are.  

This one sows his teething necklace pretty well. He broke it and i had to fix it, so he hasnt been wearing it. glad that he wasnt actually teething yet! no teeth yet!  

this pix is so awesome, except that im not that great of a photographer. :( he is so very handsome, though, don't you think?

i just like this pix. Mikey took it so its blurry but in B&W, its great! you can really see his big smile! 

Mikey is wearing his baby too! How cute, huh? This is a solar veil Mai Tai, so its great for the pool and hot summer weather.  

learning to play the wooden whistle! this pix was taken on his 8th month. he's getting to be such a big boy. Check out the babylegs i made to keep his legs warm! Ask me how if you are interested..they are so easy and so great for babies, especially when you wear them in the sling and their little legs get exposed in chilly autumn or winter air. :)
