This is Ethan's first time in a highchair in a public restaurant. I rarely put him down when we are out but he seemed big enough to sit in the chair. I regret not having a high chair cover but used my Ergo (baby carrier) behin him. He was eating a piece of a roll which i am not happy about either, but he usually doesn't eat any solid food at lunch so I didn't have anything with me. Note to self: keep some organic snacks in the diaper bag from now on. Jim thinks he looks like he has gotten caught doing something in this picture. I just think he looks really cute. He's getting so big!  

some Lillys in our flower garden. I haven't taken care of it this year like i have done in the past, which makes me sad. Flowers like these make me so happy. They smell so wonderful. Its such an uplift in your day to smell fresh cut lillies from your own garden.  

i swear this isnt staged! :) sometimes they just fall asleep together (in the bed) and i get up. when i come back, they are close together. usually they don't start that way, but end up like that. its just so beautiful when i see my boys sleeping together. boys hardly ever stop, so its rare to catch a moment of "calm" with boys. Mikey loves his little brother so much and Ethan adores Mikey.

my 3 boys! the rapper, baseball fanatic and sweet baby! :) im amazed when i see them all together. they are all so different but i love them each equally! i find that amazing, since when my first was born i never thought i could love another child so much (until my 2nd was born). And, as this pix proves, boys will be boys!! :)  

We were playing a game of Peek-A-Boo! The smiles are just contagious!!!! I am so glad I found something that cna help me finally capture his smile on camera!  

I am so in love with my baby!  

Here is a pair of wool soakers I knitted while pregnant with Ethan. I thought they were huge but recently put them on him and they fit. :) The blue looks so good on him. They match his blue eyes. 

Can you believe this face? Its one of the million that I can rarely capture with the camera. I think I am going to try and take a photography class. This baby has thousands of pictures of him (I can prove that with my computer!) but I have such a hard time capturing these moments. I think its because of the delay with the digital camera, so my new goal is to get a camera that doesn't delay. Perhaps then my pictures will get much better. See what I mean by him scooting over into my bed??? :)

What can I say about this picture? I left McClaine with Ethan one morning while I went to pick Mikey up from his dads. I didn't have the heart to wake Ethan up for the trip (it was only 15 minutes away). When I came home, this is what I came home to (this is my bed...Ethan never moved, but apparently McClaine fell asleep while watching Mikey). Its too cute for me! 

Our frog (see below...we have a nightly frog visitor b/c he likes getting the bugs from the outside of the window that come because our light is on at night) brought a date! "Our" frog is the larger one, below left. The "date" is the one at the top. I don't know if they are going to make this a permanent thing or not, but we think its kind of cute to watch them each evening.  

see? he's about to scoot over to our bed! we don't call it crawling right now, because he isn't crawling yet. It will be soon I am sure. At this point, he is tired of his playing and wants to be close to mommy! How awesome is that? :) 

I love the close-ups and the pictures where I actually get a smile with the camera. 

I just side-carred Ethan's crib (put it right beside our bed, so its just an extension of our bed, so we can continue to co-sleep). he loves hanging out in his crib for a few minutes because there are toys there (yes, of course I remove them if he's sleeping there), but as you can see, there is no gap between our bed and his bed, so he can just scoot over to our bed, which is what he does. But sometimes he likes to just sit there and chill out for a few minutes. :) 

I cant resist publishing another. I try to limit the pictures in my blog to the very best ones but I can't help but post 2 of this very special budding relationship. Mikey is so warm-hearted.  

I just love this picture. It shows how caring Mikey is for his little brother. He is such a huge help to me...always going to get another diaper (cloth of course), a cloth wipe (and wetting it for me), always telling me to "be careful mama" when I am wearing Ethan. Their relationship is just so beautiful to watch develop. There is no relationship like that between brothers. 

It is indeed a rare day that I get a smile with my camera! But when he gives you a smile, he doesn't hold back!
